To install GNU Octave, an Open Source Matlab clone under Mac OS X, you will need to install fltk and GraphicsMagick as specific versions first. To do so, install both using the following commands: brew install -HEAD fltk. Octave Deluxe is a 64-bit plugin that works on both Mac & PC. It also works in all DAWs, including FL Studio, Ableton, Logic etc. We do not support Pro Tools at this time.

Octave has many dependencies which will be downloaded and installed prior to Octave. The entire installation process can take a few hours if you are compiling from source.
